Hello, the bee inspection last week is on rumble (link below). It was very successful except I am missing a queen. I think she left for good, which can sadly happen. I’ll check for her again tomorrow, if no luck I I’ll merge what’s left with another hive.

April 1 2021 a dream came true! My spouse and I purchased 17 acres with the hope of building a home, growing a family and becoming mostly self sufficient.
We are planing around 100 fruit trees, a large garden, 6-20 bee hives (over the years) and eventually all types of livestock.

My spouse and I love roller coasters 🎢.
So we took a mini 2 day trip to Kings Island. The night we left, temps hit 28 degrees and we lost 95% of our plants. $250 later they are all replaced and a few more purchased. It was quite heartbreaking 💔 to loose it all. It was an entire day of work.
No the freeze wasn’t on the weather until about 2 days before our trip.
Oh well, that’s life.

We worked hard today to get the tomatoes in the ground. We planted approximately 100 tomatoes of 15+ different varieties. 1 entire row is Roma tomatoes.
We also planted about 15 peppers. 9 jalapeños, 3 cayenne, 2 Carolina Reaper, 3 giant bell, and the rest are yellow bell peppers 🫑
We haven’t had success with peppers EVER. Here is to hope!
We have amended the soils some. The soil is very crappy. I plan to mulch the plants with leave litter in a week or 2
